Equipment for your
pool, chosen
and installed by us.
Heat pumps, salt electrolysis, pool covers, lighting and filtration. We advise, size and install — hydraulics and electrics handled by the same team, in Carvoeiro since 2001.

What we install
Four decisions that change your pool
These are the pieces of equipment that make the biggest difference to pools in Carvoeiro — in comfort, energy consumption and the work they require from you.

Heating
Heat pumps
They extend the swimming season from three months to seven or eight. The choice depends on the pool volume, sun exposure and whether or not you have a cover — not on the model that happens to be on promotion.
- Sized for the months when you actually want to swim
- Full Inverter: quieter and more economical
- Dedicated electrical circuit, with the correct protection
AstralPool · Warmpac · Hayward · GardenPac

Water treatment
Salt electrolysis and pH
The pool starts producing its own chlorine. No more manual dosing, no more containers, and the water stays more stable and much gentler on the skin.
- Cell sized to the pool’s actual volume
- Automatic pH control, without fluctuations
- Connected to filtration times, operating automatically
Innowater · AstralPool · CTX · Avady

Comfort and savings
Pool covers
The piece of equipment that saves the most money and gets talked about the least. It keeps heat in overnight, reduces evaporation and lowers product consumption.
- Manual or automatic, depending on space and budget
- PVC or solar polycarbonate slats, which heat the water
- On-site measurement before ordering the slats
Abriblue · AstralPool

Ambience and safety
Lighting and electrical panels
Replacing old pool lights with LED transforms the pool after dark and lowers consumption. And because we handle the electrical side, the panel is taken care of at the same time.
- Replacement without emptying the pool, whenever possible
- New transformer and properly protected connection
- Panel compliant with the rules for pool areas
AstralPool · Hager · Efapel · Legrand
Most pool companies don’t handle the electrical side.
We handle both.
That’s what allows us to solve things properly the first time, without passing the problem from one technician to another.
How we work
We don’t just deliver a box.
We deliver it working.
Every job in Carvoeiro is different, but there are three steps we always take — and none of them is outsourced.

01 Visit
We’ll come and take a look, free of charge
Every piece of equipment requires a different assessment, so we visit the site before making any recommendations. From there, we provide a written proposal: the model, why we chose it, what is included, what is not and the timeframe. Up to this point, you pay nothing and commit to nothing.

02 Installation
We agree the days with you
We tell you how many days we need and schedule the work at a convenient time — if the house has guests, we fit the work in between bookings. All we need from you is access to the pool: you don’t have to be present or take care of anything. We leave the area clean and tidy when we leave.

03 Delivery
It works on its own
We don’t leave until we have tested the equipment and adjusted everything so it works without intervention. You receive a written record of what was installed and the settings — and you don’t have to do anything. If it ever needs adjustment, we’re the ones to call.
Completed installations
Drag and see the difference
Installations completed in Carvoeiro and the surrounding area.
Technical area intervention with replacement of the salt electrolysis unit, partial update of the electrical panel, new transformer and installation of Astral underwater LED lights.
Full renovation of an obsolete pump room — new equipment, integrated salt electrolysis, updated electrical panel and replumbed pipework with each circuit properly labelled.
Full renovation of an end-of-life pump room — new equipment, replumbed pipework and each circuit properly labelled.
We work with brands that have spare parts and technical support in Portugal. Equipment without spare parts is a problem three years from now.
Frequently asked questions
What we are asked most often
What is the best heat pump for a pool?
There is no single best option for everyone. The right choice depends on the pool volume, sun exposure, whether or not you have a cover and the months when you want to swim. What we always recommend is a Full Inverter model — it adjusts the power according to demand, is quieter and uses considerably less energy than a traditional model. And a power rating sized to the pool, not the largest one the budget can afford: an oversized heat pump costs more, consumes more and does not heat better.
Do I need a cover to have a heat pump?
It is not mandatory, but it makes a big difference. Without a cover, the pool loses much of the heat produced by the heat pump during the day overnight — and consumption increases. That’s why, when it makes sense, we propose both together.
Are the pool cover slats made of PVC or polycarbonate?
We offer both. PVC slats are more economical and provide good insulation. Solar polycarbonate slats let light through and help heat the water during the day. The choice depends on your budget and whether or not you want to increase the water temperature.
Can I install salt electrolysis in an existing pool?
Yes. Salt electrolysis can be installed in existing pools, provided the filtration system can support it. During the visit, we assess what is already there and tell you if anything else needs to be changed first.
Which equipment brands do you work with?
Hayward, Astral, Pentair, Innowater, Warmpool, Abriblue, CTX, Hager and Legrand, among others. We always choose based on the availability of spare parts and technical support in Portugal.
How long does an installation take?
It depends on what already exists on site. Replacing one piece of equipment with an equivalent one is quick; rebuilding a plant room takes longer. The timeframe is always stated in the proposal before we start.
What is the equipment warranty?
Two years on all the equipment we install. The invoice serves as the warranty — there is nothing to fill in or register. If you ever need to make a warranty claim, you deal directly with us.
Do you work outside Carvoeiro?
We work in Carvoeiro and the surrounding area. We deliberately keep our service area focused: that’s what allows us to get there quickly when a customer needs us.
